Harare, Zimbabwe – Despite facing physical and literacy challenges, Evelyn, a newly baptized Seventh-day Adventist (SDA) member from Shamva, has emerged as an inspiration during the recently concluded impactHarare evangelistic efforts. Evelyn, who is wheelchair-bound and unable to read or write, traveled from Shamva to Kambuzuma to join other missionaries in witnessing for Christ in the city. The initiative, organized by the SDA Church under the Zimbabwe East Union Conference, brought together evangelists from outside Harare to share the gospel. Having been baptized into the SDA Church just a month ago, Evelyn refused to let her physical limitations deter her from spreading the message of salvation. Her unwavering commitment to the gospel commission has inspired fellow missionaries and community members alike. “She is a testimony that nothing should stand in the way of sharing Christ’s love,” said one of the evangelists. “Her presence and zeal encouraged many, showing that the call to evangelism is for everyone.” The impactHarare initiative has drawn praise for its outreach efforts, with Evelyn’s story standing out as a reminder that dedication to faith transcends all barriers.
